The state and prospects of development of inbound medical tourism in the Russian Federation

This article is devoted to topical issues of the development of inbound medical tourism in the territory of the Russian Federation; the article describes the strengths of the implementation of this direction in tourism, and describes the barriers that restrain the pace of development of inbound medical tourism in the Russian Federation. As a solution to the existing problems, the author's concept of the development of medical tourism at the regional level is proposed.
