Status and perspectives of solving the problem of increasing the technical indicators of ac electrical machines

The article describes the problem of increasing the technical performance of asynchronous short-circuited electric motors. Classic and modern methods and means of reducing the starting current of these engines are considered. A description and assessment of the suitability of the methods and tools involved in real-time use are given.
