State and tendencies of the development of small businesses in the Republic of Buryatia

This article discusses the impact small business development has on the solution of economics and social problems in the region. We have also confirmed that it's necessary to support small businesses as a main source of the region's population income, and also as one of the ways to decrease social tension and unemployment rate. Main stages, tendencies and social benefits of the development of small businesses in the Republic of Buryatia are outlined.
