State and tendencies of middle class development in the Middle Volga regions

Criteria for the middle class separation in the social structure of Russian regions are considered in the article. On the basis of the data of a sociological research held in the Samara, Ulyanovsk Regions and the Republic of Marij El factors for the Russian middle class reproduction, its regional peculiarities as well as quantitative and qualitative structure are determined.
