The article analyzes the state of the soil cover of Bashkortostan Republic. The main types, factors, as well as the types and forms of the manifestation of soil degradation in the region are reflected. The results of monitoring the fertility of agricultural soils are studied. The content of chemical elements in the soils of the subject is considered.
