State industry of the USSR before the Great Patriotic War

This article discusses the policy of the Soviet state to strengthen the military potential of the Soviet state on the eve of the great Patriotic War. The main branches of the military industry are presented. The main centers, as well as the largest enterprises that carried out the rise of the military and economic potential of the Soviet Union are identified.
