The situation in the Russian gold-mining industry

The article is an analysis of the current state in gold-mining. The author reveals main problems in the industry (low level of geological prospecting, lack of investments into primary gold deposits) and the factors contributing to its development (the potential of gold ore deposits, the increase of gold-mining in the 70% of the regions, the entry of major gold-mining companies into international markets, participation of foreign companies in the development of Russian gold-mining deposits).
