The state, structure and dynamics of victimization of victims of economic violence

The institution of family is one of the fundamental elements of civil society, the well-being of which affects socioeconomic and political stability. Abhealthy and strong family is the key to the prosperity of the state, the source of reproduction and socialization of new generations, the custodian of cultural values and traditions. It is in the family that basic ideas about morality, ethics, responsibility and citizenship are formed. In the modern world, the institution of family is undergoing signifi cant changes. Traditional ideas about family roles and responsibilities are being transformed, new forms of family relations are emerging, the number of divorces and singleparent families is increasing. These trends, on the one hand, refl ect the processes of individualization and emancipation, on the other hand, they indicate abcrisis of family values and weakening of social ties. Currently, the issue of domestic violence in its various forms is acute. Domestic violence is not only physical violence, it also includes psychological, emotional, economic and sexual coercion, which makes it destructive for victims and the whole society. It is important to understand that manifestations of economic violence in the family are not only socially dangerous, but also highly latent, which necessitates their deeper and more careful study. The article analyzes the state, structure and dynamics of victimization of victims of economic violence in Russia, which will allow developing and scientifi cally substantiating proposals for the prevention of this negative phenomenon.
