The purpose of our study is to determine morphologic changes in microvascular bed of liver in 78 female and male white rats adults on the first, seventh, fourteenth, twenty-eighth days and third, sixth, ninth months after operation. The hepatic microcirculation was analyzed using light and scanning electron microscopy, histological methods, morphometry and statistics. The splenectomy influenses on microvascular bed and hepatocytes in early periods. It causes irreversible morphological changes of hepatic tissue in long-term periods after operation.
