Cooperation of Russia and CIS countries in the field of education in 1991-2015-ies: from the history of Slavic universities

The article considers one of the most important aspects of cooperation between the Russian Federation with the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in the field of education in 1991 and 2015. This is the background and the process of creation and development of the Slavic University in CIS countries. Actualizes the main tasks and activities of the university context priorities the development of education systems in the countries of the Commonwealth. Special attention is paid to the analysis of joint agreements with the CIS countries in the field of education, as well as programs to support the integration processes in the field of education and the program of measures to support compatriots abroad in the study period. Important are listed in the article quantitative indicators describing trends in the educational systems of the CIS countries, including training, retraining and advanced training of scientific and teaching staff, as well as internships and scientific-pedagogical practice of young scientists and the exchange of experience using the latest computer achievements in the field of education, accumulated in higher education. The results of the creation of university departments and research centers, research institutions and dissertation councils, and especially the sharing of human, financial and material resources of universities in order to create a single educational space. The role of education authorities states - founders of universities, the business community and nongovernmental organizations not only in the formation of the university budget, but also in monitoring its distribution and use. It describes the activities of the joint Russian-Slavic national universities in the context of formation of personnel potential for independent sovereign states.
