Cooperation between the USSR and the Mongolian People's Republic in the sphere of education and science in 1940's

In 1940-s the USSR and Mongolia were cooperating successfully in the sphere of education and science, as a result Mongolia developed a unified system of public education and the main sciences. Mongolian State University, opened in 1942, played a significant role in the training of human resources. The activities of the Committee of Sciences of Mongolia, numerous joint archaeological, ethnographic, mowing and grazing expeditions made a tremendous contribution to the study of natural resources, archeology, ethnography, vegetation and soils.
