The law enforcement officials as members of the political process

The article determines the structure of law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation as a social and professional group of the civil servants and its features. The authors substantiate position and role of the law enforcement officers in the modern political process and characterize law enforcement officers as a specific subject of political behavior. They define conditions and factors that influence the content and nature of their political behavior, as well as forms and ways of participation of law enforcement officers of the Russian Federation in the political process.
