Improve the work of the government authorities to support small business (example of the town district Dzerzhinsky)

In conditions of anti-Russian sanctions and ongoing stagnation in the economy, the issue of the role of small business in the country grows many times. Small businesses, as an integrated element of the socio-economic system of the region, are involved in carrying out both economic and social transformations, providing a significant contribution to the formation of the gross regional product and employment. Accordingly, the development and implementation of state policy on supporting small business is of becoming more important. In this article, the author presents the definition and criterion of small business, its role and scale in the structure of the country's economy; lists the main measures of state and regional support for small businesses; The methods taken to support small business in Dzerzhinsky are reviewed, brief recommendations for improvement are proposed.
