Perfection of forms of public participation in the law and order considering the resources of district police divisions

The article discusses the questions of organization of activities of district police divisions in view of adoption of the Federal law “Concerning participation of citizens in protection of public order". The author suggests some amendments in the statutory act regulating activities of district police officers. On the basis of the analysis of historical experience, the author proposes the new forms of public participation in the law and order considering the current expansion of powers of social organizations and citizens in this sphere.
