An overview of the results of complex researches of historians, archaeologists, ethnologists, anthropologists, surveyors and geologists on archaeological monuments “Ananjino 1” and “Mezhdurechje 3”. The experience of joint work is performed in the period from 2011 to 2017 was generalized. In the article is given an overview of the main directions of improvement of applied surveys in archaeological excavations. The main directions of improvement of geophysical technologies in archaeology are use of global navigation satellite systems, remote sensing techniques, ground-based stereophotogrammetrical survey and geographical information systems. The analysis of the technology of surveying at archaeological sites was performed according to the materials of the expedition of 2017 year. There were investigated and improved methods of creating survey ground using global positioning satellite systems and electronic tacheometers, leveling the surface, topographic survey of the finds and the creation of archaeological plans...
