Improvement of state management of railway transport (on the example of the high-speed railway Moscow - St. Petersburg)

Based on the analysis of the existing structure of state management of railway transport, the features of the management of the future first high-speed railway Moscow - St. Petersburg with a train speed of up to 400 km/h are described. The feasibility and prospects of implementing the project under study are noted. The specifics of the project implementation in Russia are considered in comparison with world analogues, as well as taking into account technical, climatic and geopolitical features. Risks and possible mechanisms for managing them are described.
