The electrode system to the physical modeling of excitation processes in air at atmospheric pressure of uniform bulk and surface barrier corona discharges at direct current has been offered. The discharge stability sources increase are identified. It is associated with air pre-ionization in near-wall layer at movable electrode due to electron detachment and emission of accumulate charges from dielectric.
