The article discusses the mechanism of rehabilitation of Russian banks through the Banking Sector Consolidation Fund established by the Bank of Russia. The problems of the new mechanism of financial recovery of banks are identified. The ways to improve the mechanism of the rehabilitation of banks and ways to solve the identified problems are proposed.
