Improving the mechanisms of managing the social development of the region on the example of the Republic of Bashkortostan

The article considers the issue of improving the mechanisms of managing the social development of the region on the example of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The main directions of improvement of project activity in the management of social development of the territory of the region are outlined. The author concludes that the mechanism of social development management in the region will contribute to its effectiveness only when problematic issues are taken into account in the interaction between the population and authorities, since this factor affects the level of distribution of their powers and responsibilities and, as a result, reveals the specifics of the functioning of the entire mechanism of social development management in the region.
