Improvement of methods of modeling of socio-economic processes at municipal administration level

The paper describes the outcome of improvement of economic and mathematical model designed to predict municipal entities socio-economic development. The model uses and predicts the indicators included in the list of key factors for evaluating the performance of municipal entities local authorities. The initial use of the model has yielded positive results and provided adequate projections. The projection of the key indicators of socio-economic development of Novosibirsk has revealed the need to adapt the model to the characteristics of this largest municipality. Improvements in the model have resulted in a significant positive shift in the forecasts of the city's economic development. Calculations have shown that, in general, the model can work with real economic information and give positive results, but along with this it calls for adaptation to respond to the scale of municipal entity and to the characteristics of socio-economic processes.
