Improving the methodology for assessment the implementation of “smart city” technologies in the largest cities of Russia

The goal of the study is to show directions for improving the methodology for assessing the implementation of the national program «Digital Economy» goals in terms of «smart city» technology in the largest cities of Russia. To achieve the goal of the research, methods of scientific knowledge were used: comparative analysis, logical and systemic synthesis of indicators reflecting the usage of smart city technologies in fifteen «millionaire cities» of the Russian Federation. Based on the results of the study, the methodology for assessing the level of implementation of «smart city» technologies has been clarified depending on program financing and the demand-offer ratio for digital technologies in the largest cities of Russia.
