The article reveals the importance of improvement of professional education of nurses in primary healthcare. The article gives the definition of the concepts of continuous professional education and its peculiarities in nursing. Presents the results of a study conducted among nurses of primary concerning the effectiveness of the methods used to enhance professional skills.
