In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, significant changes are taking place in the labor market, which also affect the methods of recruiting and hiring employees. Firms strive to reduce costs and improve the efficiency of personnel. The article discusses modern methods of recruiting and hiring personnel, their advantages and disadvantages in the conditions of the Russian economy. A comparative analysis of various methods of recruiting personnel is carried out, an assessment of their effectiveness is given. Attention is also focused on the features of the emerging gig-economy in Russia.
