Improving the assessment of the competence of municipal employees

This article deals with the problems of assessing the professional competence of municipal employees as the most important factor of their effective activity. Having analyzed the legal framework in the field of municipal service, based on the positions and opinions of researchers, the author of the article proposed to improve the system of assessment of professional competencies of municipal employees. The activities of municipal employees should meet the needs of modern Russian society, in this regard, the topic of the article is relevant.
