The article discusses approaches to improving the operational management systems of a tourist enterprise. It is established that at the present stage of tourism development, new requirements arise for methodological developments on the formation of a management system at a tourist enterprise. In this case, the operating system is considered by us as a system of management activities of a tourist enterprise, which includes human, logistical, technological, intellectual, informational components that perform the functions of developing organizational systems that ensure the most efficient use of various resources. It is proved that the main role in improving the efficiency of management of a tourist enterprise should belong to the stimulating function of the organizational and economic mechanism. In these conditions, the tourist effective demand has a different “breadth of coverage” of consumers - from society as a whole to each individual consumer of tourist services. Therefore, the goals of service systems are differentiated depending on the significance of the needs being met in terms of this “breadth of coverage”. It is determined that all the goals of a tourist enterprise are dynamic, interrelated in time and means of achievement. They should be balanced by the resources of the service system. At the same time, the economic mechanism can be considered as a component of the economic mechanism, consisting of planning and economic incentives.
