Personnel management in the system of organizational and managerial activities in the customs authorities is inextricably linked with the effective operation of the entire customs system of Russia. This article examines the key guidelines for the development of organizational and managerial activities in the system of customs authorities of the Russian Federation. The necessity of modernization of the organizational structure is identified and justified.
