Improving counteraction to modern challenges and threats in the field of information security of the Russian Federation emanating from international terrorist organizations

Introduction: various long-term forecasts indicate the need, in the future, to conduct research on the search for new forms and types of countering terrorism in the information sphere, as well as on the organization and tactics of combating the phenomenon under consideration. To this end, in the conducted research, the author has studied and scientifically substantiated the modern possibilities of countering various challenges and threats in the field of information security of the Russian Federation emanating from the subjects of international terrorism. Materials and methods: the author used various assessments of modern possibilities of countering challenges and threats in the field of information security of our country, emanating from the subjects of international terrorism, as well as materials of national structures responsible for the fight against terrorism, scientific audiences of domestic and foreign experts on the problem under consideration. In the process of research, analysis, synthesis, formal-logical, historical and a number of specific scientific methods were used. The results of the study: the danger of cyberterrorism is due to the fact that attackers can act unnoticed and take control of various social networks on a regular basis to collect political, economic and financial information. Cyberattacks can target various domestic organizations in all sectors of activity. qualitative changes in the indicators of modern challenges and threats in the field of information security of our country emanating from international terrorism emphasize the importance of improving work with this illegal phenomenon. In many ways, this state of affairs is explained by the importance of the role of preventive impact on the crime in question. In the current situation, it is impossible to do without a comprehensive program of measures to counteract the phenomenon under consideration. Findings and Conclusions: the author made an attempt to find and scientifically substantiate better opportunities to counter new challenges and threats in the field of information security of our state, emanating from international terrorism. In this regard, along with many theorists and specialists in our country on the problem under consideration, they were offered their own vision of improving the measures of the state policy of the Russian Federation to counter terrorism in the information sphere. The scientific novelty of the study is determined by the first comprehensive analysis of the problems of improving modern challenges and threats in the field of information security of the Russian Federation, emanating from international terrorism. The practical significance of the work can be expressed in the fact that the conclusions and results set out in it can be used in the further work of law enforcement agencies in the field of countering various kinds of challenges and threats in the field of information security of our country emanating from international terrorist organizations.
