Improvement of the Russian legislation on legal entities

The article reveals the reasons for improving legislation on legal entities. We have analyzed the legislative changes introduced into Chapter 4 «Legal Entities» of Part One of The Russian Civil Code in recent years. The process of reforming legislation on legal entities is carried out in accordance with the Concept of Development the Russian Federation Civil Legislation, approved on October 7, 2009 by the Council under the President of Russia on codification and improvement of civil legislation. The article reflects not only positive aspects of reforming the current legislation, but also its shortcomings and problems. We have noted that the ideas of the concept are being successfully implemented, but the goals have not yet been achieved, therefore the process of reforming the legislation on legal entities is not over.
