Adaptability is an important quality that employers are looking for in employees. Due to the rapid changes in technology, companies need employees who are open to new ideas, flexible enough to solve complex problems and able to cope with difficulties. The quality of human resources in the mining and metallurgical industry is still low, not meeting the requirements of domestic and international markets. The article presents recommendations on how to avoid problems that arise during the adaptation period both for new employees of engineering and technical specialties and for the organization as a whole.
