Improving the project management system in a telecommunications company

This article presents the results of research on current problems of project management in a telecommunications company, taking into account industry specifics. The author used such research methods as comparison, observation, deduction, induction, monographic, analysis, synthesis, scientific analogy. The article presents an applied theoretical and methodological basis, discusses the problems and ways to solve them based on the conducted research. The article highlights the theoretical aspects of the stated topic, the author’s contribution is to clarify, systematize and supplement the provisions in the field of project management, taking into account industry specifics in the field of telecommunications. As a result, the author notes that several important problems have been identified in the project management system of a telecommunications company: the deadlines for the implementation of products are regularly violated, the goal of building a large-scale digital ecosystem requires more effective project management methods. The author also notes that project management is an integrated process. The effectiveness of the project activity reflects the degree of achievement of the goals set for a particular project. Project management in the telecommunications company under study has several features. The development of the ecosystem creates a need to improve project management processes in the company. The article is a continuation of the author’s series of articles on improving project management in domestic large business companies.
