The blood service in Republic of Bashkortostan in 2005-2013 years has been reorganized and: - quantity of blood establishments has been decreased by 7.8 times; - number of staff positions has been reduced (47.7%) as the number of employees of the blood service (25.9%), so staffing positions have been increased (41.5%); - the amount of harvested blood per employee increased by 21.7% and per physician - by 70.0%; - outdated donor red blood cells decreased by 856.3%, and the outdated plasma - by 771.4%.
