The article discusses the prerequisites for strategic management and planning of organizations, planning technologies and the construction of strategic maps. Theoretical, methodological and applied approaches to the formation and development of strategic management and planning technologies, the possibility of using their tools in the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises are determined. The possibilities and consequences of digitalization are assessed, which should be taken into account in the process of strategic management of organizations.
