Improvement of the technology of applying concentrated organic fertilizer under the conditions of dry farming

An effective technique that contributes to the conservation of soil resources in arid agriculture is the application of humates and concentrated organic fertilizers. For high-quality surface application of concentrated organic fertilizers with doses of 1 to 4 t/ha, a machine based on RUM (MVU) was developed. It ensures the reliability of the technological process of unloading fertilizers from the body, excluding arching by installing movable body sidewalls. The quality of fertilizer distribution over the field surface is ensured by the presence of a pneumatic centrifugal working body adapted to the physical and mechanical properties of concentrated organic fertilizers. Pneumatic centrifugal release is ensured by the presence of two high-pressure fans located along the sides of the machine body, pneumatic lines and a centrifugal disk driven by a hydraulic motor. By means of pneumatic pipelines, the surface application of concentrated organic fertilizer (COF) is carried out on the left and right in the direction of motion of the machine, and with a centrifugal disk - in the center of motion of the machine. This layout of the machine allows us to apply concentrated organic fertilizers with doses up to 10,0 t/ha or more with uneven distribution over the application width of less than 20%, in the direction of motion of the machine - up to 10%. A functional-kinematic scheme of the machine has been developed, which ensures its use in a unit with tractors of 1.4 Class. The dose of applying concentrated organic fertilizers depends on their supply by a bottom conveyor to the distribution system over the field surface, the application width and the speed of the unit. When the speed of the machine changes from 2,5 km/h to 12,33 km/h, the dose of fertilizer application can vary from 23,3 t/ha to 1,5 t/ha when the speed of the bottom conveyor changes from 0,15 m/s up to 0,47 m/s. The application width is 8 m.
