The Soviet concept of the human rights of juvenile offenders serving the sentence in the GULAG (1918-1956)

This article analyzes the Soviet experience of re-socialization of juvenile offenders in the GULAG (1918-1956). The analysis is performed on archival materials and documents (GARF, RGASPI and ANP), decision of the Council of People's Commissars, orders of the NKVD). The author has developed the scientific concepts of "re-socialization under conditions of limited freedom" and "penitentiary re-socialization".
