Speaking about Soviet cultural loci in the novel «The Real History of Green Musicians» by E.Popov, the author of the present article bases the arguments on the fact that Soviet cultural situation has formed the writer's perception of culture in whole and its specific Soviet variant. The article deals with geocultural images of Soviet epoch in a spatial-geographical coordinate system, stated on the "map" of the novel. On the basis of the archetypical images and symbols of Soviet culture E.Popov's fictional peculiarities of cultural space model building are revealed.
