The Soviet question in the policy of the French national bloc

The aim of the article is to consider the views of the French National Bloc on the USSR during its period in power in France in 1919-1924. The relevance of the article is due to the fact that the authorities of modern France are pursuing a policy similar to that pursued by the National Bloc in 1919-1924. The aim of the article is to study the diplomatic strategy of the National Bloc in relation to the USSR. The delineation of the unsolved early parts of the general problem consists in considering the strategies of the National Bloc’s relations with the USSR, studying the principles on which the National Bloc proposed to build relations with the USSR. Attempts to isolate Russia internationally and support its opponents in Eastern Europe are almost identical. During the writing of the article, the author used methods of typing, classification and comparison. The main results published in the article are the identification of common features of the policy of the National Bloc in relation to the USSR. The main results of the research carried out within the framework of this topic are to establish the influence of the policy of the National Bloc in 1919-1924 on the foreign policy of modern France in relation to Russia and other countries of Eastern Europe. There are almost no studies in Russian that give a complete picture of the relationship between France and the USSR during the period the National Bloc was in power in France.
