Modern state policy in the field of sports and criminal-legal protection from various illegal encroachments

Today, one of the interesting features of modern Russia is the creation of a new sphere of public relations, called professional sports. Professional sport is not just about sports. Sport has the most important economic and entertainment components. Professional sport is actively developing and growing - it is a kind of industry, covering millions of people, and this area of commercial relations is very attractive. The problem is that the current state of law still lacks its clear legal and socio-economic criteria for determining and effective regulatory mechanisms, which cause difficulties and sometimes develop into internal conflicts and violations of the law. Without taking into account the commercial nature it is impossible to create an industry that could objectively deal with the regulation of sports relations. A large section of relations in prof. sport has an inviolable character which is regulated by the foundations adopted by sports organizations since law enforcement agencies do not have enough experience to apply criminal laws in this area, which is wrong according to experts. The increase in the latency of crimes in this area increases due to the acute problem of law enforcement practice-this causes a violation of the principle of inevitability of punishment. All of the above causes the relevance of my article.
