Modern historiography of the history of Kalmykia in 1920-1930

This article examines the main modern articles and monographs devoted to the period of the 1920s-1930s. in Kalmykia, when the nomadic ethnicity was sedentarized and integrated into a new community - the Soviet people. Over the past twenty years, radical changes have taken place in the life of the Kalmyks.
