Contemporary Estonian literature: current issues, prospects and artistic practice

The author considers the current problems of contemporary Estonian literature and defines its development prospects. Much attention is paid to the influence of Soviet literature in the national literature, in particular Estonia. Speaking of the art practice the author refers to the analysis of a number of works by one of the most famous Estonian authors E. Vetemaa.
