The modern concept of social policy of the social democratic party of germany (SPD): crisis or renewal?

The Aim of this study is to analyze contemporary social theory of German social democracy. Update of the SPD’ social concept began during the chancellorship of Gerhard Schroeder and intensively continued in the "Grand coalition". Current migration crisis in the EU makes the SPD leaders a new look at neolabourist interpretation of social strategies. The conceptual crisis of traditional political parties in Germany, changing electoral politics of the population in favor of the right-wing conservative parties, the growth of the unsolved social problems makes poorly predictable the results of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Germany. In this regard, the study of this problem of the concept of social policies transformation of Germany leading parties allows a deeper and more versatile to perform the characteristic features of modern European social democracy.
