Modern socio-typological characteristics of students who have committed a crime

Introduction: the article is on the socio-typological features of the personality of delinquent students. Materials and Methods: the author analysed academic law literature and statistics offered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Russian Federation Supreme Court, General Prosecutor's Office. Results: the article was devoted to the analysis of individual socio-typological features of the personality of students who have committed a crime, their gender and age characteristics were given. In addition, the author analyzed the personality of the category of criminal under consideration, depending on the level of education of criminals. Discussion and Conclusions: based on the analysis of official statistics, the author presents a modern socio-typological portrait of a delinquent student. Carrying out further study on the analysis of other characteristics of the personality of students-offenders, will form general and special recommendations for combating crimes committed by schoolchildren and students, and therefore will affect the level of criminological protection of the education system as a whole.
