The study presents the results of an analysis of the structure of state power and its role in ensuring the country’s resilience. The fundamental principles of the separation of powers are elucidated, along with the systemic errors inherent in governance associated with a particular power structure. Сonclusion dwells upon the fact of the existing power structures in the states of the world and how the modern information society contributes to the control of the activities of the state. The analysis of the structure of power, its form, constituent elements, relations and expediency is the most important method and the main factor for justifying the need for state-building, development, forecasting and improvement of the state system as a whole. The synthesis of the elements of power and the connections between them, with a certain expediency, gives the entire political system a new increment of necessary properties. The use of a systematic approach makes it possible to develop algorithms for political models that are well formalized and embedded in machine programs, i. e. programmed. This approach also provides the capability to construct political models that are free from utopian dogmas, employing genuinely “cold calculations”, rational justifications, and devoid of human frailties.
