The modern state and its duty to protect citizens from material insecurity

The state is called upon to ensure a decent life for people - the fundamental legal basis, which is enshrined in the Basic Law of the Russian Federation (Article 7). The main regulator in this area is a relatively new branch of law - the Law of Social Security. The standard of living of the population is a direct indicator of the direction in which the state is developing, whether it is developing. In this article, the author will highlight an urgent topic related to the duty of the state to provide citizens with a decent life. The mechanisms used to protect against material insecurity will be considered. We will also talk about the pressing problems of social insecurity and the changes that we had to face in connection with the big changes in the world.
