The modern pressure equipment for extrusion the hard deforming aluminium alloys with active friction forces

The paper presents principle new design of the horizontal hydraulic press for the extrusion with active friction forces, shows features of its devices and reveals principle of its work. Using the original throttle control greatly expands the potential of the hydraulic press and the original design of the pressing tool provides additional features. The design and the method of extrusion have been successfully implemented in the press located in Krasnoyarsk metallurgical plant (KraMZ).
