This article describes the areal of taiga tallherb forests attributed to associations Aconito septentrionalis-Piceetum obovatae Zaugolnova et Morozova ex hoc loco. and Pulmonario obscurae-Piceetum abietis ass. nova hoc loco. Ecological, biological and areal characteristics of boreal tallherbs as a physiognomic group of the discussed syntaxon is given.
