This article examines the analysis of the number of field mice against the background of the number of all mouse-like rodents living in the Omsk region of the late XX-early XXI centuries. The number of mouse-like rodents was calculated by the trap-day method. In the period from 1975 to 2022, 45 583 animals were caught in the Omsk region, of which there were 7772 field mice. Histograms of the proportion of small mammals in the records for the last 10 years, as well as actual and graphic material on the accounting of the number of all rodents and field mice for the period 1975-2022 are given. Among the small mammals inhabited in the Omsk region, the dominant species was the red vole with a total share of 27.9% in catches. The field mouse performed subdominants (23.4%). The specific weight of the small forest mouse was 11.6%, narrow-crusted vole - 10.7, housekeeper vole - 9.2, common vole - 5.4, red vole - 3.9%. Even less frequently in the last decade, dark and water voles (1.2%), house mouse + gray rat (0.6%) were found in the region. A rare species was a harvest mouse (0.2%). In addition, species that are listed in the Red Book of the Omsk region (2015) were found: steppe and forest mice, steppe lemming and hamsters (gray, Barabinsky, Dzungarian and Eversmann). Over the past 47 years, the maximum total number of field mice has reached 5.0 per 100 traps/day, and rodents - 18.9 animals. In different time periods, the dynamics of the number of all rodent species, as well as field mice, was at the level of the average degree of correlation r = 0.52-0.6. A retrospective digital material characterizing the number of animals over the past 47 years is given in connection with the need for its use in making mathematical forecasts of various natural focal infections and invasions in the region.
