Modern state of "Berezoviy ovrag" nature reserve flora and fauna (Alekseevskiy region of Samara oblast)

On the territory of «Berezoviy Ovrag» nature reserve are revealed 25 rare vascular plants from the Red Books of Samara oblast and Russian Federation. Studying the entomological fauna has revealed 400 species of insects of spring-summer aspect from 11 groups and 115 families. Evribiont and meadow-steppe species are prevail (50%), steppe species of insets are about 20%. In this nature reserve are revealed 6 species of insects from the Red Book of Russian Federation (2) and the Red Book of the Samara oblast (4). The fires and soil erosion pose threat for saving of the revealed rare species.
