Current state and prospects of development of the consumer market in the Southern federal district

The article discusses the basic concepts related to the consumer market. The current statistical data are presented, on the basis of which the analysis of the current state of the consumer market of the Southern Federal District (SFD) is given. Also, the prospects for the development of the consumer market in the Southern Federal District are considered. Taking into account ROSSTAT data, such a trend as the growth of retail trade turnover, consumer price index and most market indicators as a whole has been revealed.
