Current state and problems of the electric power industry in Russia

This article is devoted to the analysis of the current state of development of the electric power industry in Russia. In the modern world, electrical energy is considered one of the leading types of energy. In various regions of the country, such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tyumen, etc., excess growth in electricity occurred several years ago, and also became a serious deterrent to regional development. But, as in any industry, in the electric power industry there are a number of problems that require quick solutions. The most important of these issues today is the integration of the electricity industry with the digitalization of society.
