Current state and problems of development of AIC of Russia

In this article, the author defines the agro-industrial complex, considers the mention of this term in legislative acts. The rating of the top 8 agricultural enterprises is given. The main trends of the Russian agro-industrial complex are highlighted, including the digitalization trend, the trend of mergers and acquisitions. The main problems arising in the industry are considered, including the imperfection of the legislative regulation of this industry, the underdevelopment of the external market for the sale of products, as well as the lack of state support and funding.
